Attorney Laurie A. Hogan, is the founder, practices before the Probate and Family Courts in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Attorney Hogan's practice areas include Family Law, Probate Law, Estate Planning, Mediation and Residential Real Estate conveyancing.  

 

Attorney Hogan has been part of the fabric of the Merrimack Valley since childhood. She has previously served the residents of the Merrimack Valley as an Intensive Care Nurse for twenty years. Attorney Hogan was raised in Lowell, Massachusetts and resides in southern New Hampshire.  She graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 1996 with a baccalaureate in the science of nursing and obtained a Juris Doctorate from the Massachusetts School of Law at Andover in 2001. 

A portion of Attorney Hogan’s practice focuses on matters before Probate and Family Courts in Massachusetts where she is appointed by Probate and Family Court Judges to serve as a Guardian Ad Litem in matters involving the care and custody of minor children, as a Guardian and or Conservator for Elders and or Incompetent persons and as Guardian Ad Litem for end-of-life issues. She also serves as a Guardian Ad Litem on behalf of incapacitated adults with special medical needs.

 

Attorney Hogan focuses on compassionate yet zealous legal representation of clients in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Attorney Hogan brings her years of legal experience to the table and works collaboratively to resolve each client’s unique legal needs. She is very mindful of the long-lasting and profound effects conflict, and or protracted litigation can have on individuals, their children and family. She works with clients to achieve results which are important to them, their children and loved ones. Attorney Hogan seeks to empower clients to make some difficult decisions so their vision for their future is achieved.

Attorney Hogan is admitted to the Massachusetts Bar, the New Hampshire Bar, and the United States District Court, for the District of New Hampshire.  

Attorney Hogan served as a volunteer lawyer for the Lawyer of the Day Program through the Middlesex Probate and Family Court in Lowell for over fifteen years. She also serves as a volunteer lawyer for the State of New Hampshire as a Tribunal member on the Medical Malpractice Panel.  

Attorney Hogan was recently elected Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees for the Massachusetts School of Law at Andover, where she has been a board member for two decades.

Attorney Hogan serves as Founding Member of the Board of Trustees for the Greater Lowell Technical High School Charitable Foundation, Inc., and is on the Board of Directors, of Pelham Community Spirit, Inc.  She is a member of the Greater Lowell Bar Association where she served as Board member and one term as President. She is an active member of the New Hampshire Bar Association, the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts and the Massachusetts Association of Guardian Ad Litems.

Attorney Hogan was the 2018 Recipient of the Greater Lowell Bar Association Normand D’Amour, Attorney of the Year Award.
